Last week, we inaugurated a new and exclusive area of the beach club with the aim of making the Maya experience even more engaging and unforgettable. The Reef is the platform perched over the sea that will be the home for our Sunday sunset rituals.
It’s a space where you can end the weekend with the Maya community and enjoy a sunset set with international artists.
The first Tierra event featured Kalamo, the resident DJ at Lio Mykonos, who delighted us with his electronic sound infused with melodic tones and afro house rhythms.
This week, we have the pleasure of hosting two great artists. We kick off on Saturday, July 20th, with Cueva Electrònica, the Saturday party featuring DJs and producers from the fashion and clubbing worlds. Our next guest: Alan Dixon, the resident DJ at Savage in London.

Alan Dixon: the perfect mix of disco strut and peak-time breakdowns
Mixmag, Defected, and Traxsource have identified him as an artist to watch in the international music industry: Alan Dixon first encountered clubbing at 16 and knew immediately that this was his path.
He began making a name for himself in the North East of England before quickly becoming one of the resident DJs at the Ministry of Sound in Singapore, where he stayed for several years.
Once back in the UK, and armed with insider knowledge from working at Strut Records in London, Alan quickly became a go-to name on the disco circuit: Horse Meat Disco, Elrow, Glastonbury, and Savage Disco. But also Pikes Ibiza, Black Flamingo NYC, Madrid, and a headline return to Singapore.
Already known for his disco edits, Alan moved into original productions in 2014, inspired by names like Todd Terje, Prins Thomas, and Gerd Janson. He was remixed by Prins Thomas for Correspondant, and signed with Gerd Janson’s Running Back Records.
While his early releases included gospel-tinged soulful house and cosmic disco, in recent years he has evolved his sound to create pulsing big-room Italo anthems that are equal parts disco strut and peak-time breakdowns.
In 2020, he launched his own label, Love Attack, and confirmed remixes for Salsoul, Unidisc, MeMeMe, and others.
With airplay on Radio 1, music signed to Running Back, Permanent Vacation, and Correspondant, Alan Dixon is undoubtedly an incredibly
interesting artist, perfectly aligned with the beach club’s sound and the atmospheres of Cueva Electrònica.
Maya’s celebrations continue on Sunday with Tierra, the new weekly sunset aperitif in the exclusive beach club area, The Reef. Our next guest: MRGOODALF.

MRGOODALF: sharing magical vibes with a sound never heard before
MRGOODALF is a Spanish DJ born and raised between the Canary Islands and the Balearic Islands.
He likes to describe his music as a mix of his tropical and Latin roots, his deep connections with house music capitals like Ibiza and Tulum, and his eight years living within Dubai’s nightlife scene.
After playing in all the most prominent venues in Dubai, MRGOODALF has managed to establish himself as a reference in the Afro House / Afro Tech scene, always bringing his own groovy techniques to showcase a never heard before sound and create magical vibes wherever he goes.
MRGOODALF has leaped from a local DJ to an international artist, with residencies in Tulum, Ibiza, and Mykonos, as well as other one-off performances throughout the world, including countries like Italy, Israel, USA, India, and Qatar. The artist has also shared decks with world-renowned artists such as Marco Carola, Joseph Capriati, Mochakk, Satori, Da Capo, Enoo Napa, Mestiza, Aaron Sevilla, Joezi, and Sparrow & Barbarossa, to name a few.
Together with Alan Dixon and MRGOODALF, the Maya family residents will also take to the console.
