Tenuta Montecorbo’s organic olive oil is for sale at the farm or at the Maya Beach Resort. It is a superior extra virgin olive oil made from centuries-old olive trees and produced without the use of substances that could alter the nutritional value and taste. Tenuta Montecorbo, formerly known as “Tenuta Montaccore,” dates back to the period of the ancient Sorrentine families and that of the Duke of Sorrento, Antonino Sersale. It is here that Torquato Tasso, writer, poet and playwright from Sorrento, spent several years completing his infamous poem “Gerusalemme Liberata.”
