Last Saturday, we had the pleasure of hosting Marino Canal at Maya for the very first time, the Spanish DJ known for his organic, hypnotic, and melancholic sounds.
A versatile and surprising artist, Marino crafted a unique soundscape with his set, made even more unforgettable by the atmosphere and energy of the beach club.
However, our journey is just beginning. On Saturday, June 22, Maya's Cueva Electrònica is ready to welcome another internationally renowned DJ and producer, Agoria.

Agoria: a talent for creating deep, stripped-back, and stirring melodies
Agoria, alias of Sébastien Devaud, is a French producer and composer renowned for his ability to create deep, essential, and touching melodies. His track "Embrace" and the EPs "Boomerang" and "Scala," which has accumulated nearly 5 million streams on Spotify, are prime examples of his work.
His productions are a blend of contemporary art, fashion, AI, and poetry. Agoria is a multifaceted artist who has also earned a reputation as an eclectic curator, thanks to his unique ability to combine tracks of very different origins and layer them in creative, sometimes surprising ways.
Resident Advisor named his contribution to the "At The Controls" series in 2007 as one of the best mix-CDs of the past decade.
Despite being considered one of the pioneers of French techno, Agoria has proven his worth by stepping out of the confines he helped create and successfully venturing into the worlds of cinema, fashion, and contemporary art.
He produced his first records in 1999 and began to establish his unique sonic universe, drawing inspiration from the pioneers of Detroit while also incorporating contemporary pulses that blend pop, soul, and hip-hop.
His desire to compose contemporary music, while avoiding the codes that often stifle it, reached its peak with the album "Impermanence" in 2011 and even more so with "Drift," released in collaboration with Mercury/Universal in 2019.

More than any other album, "Drift" confirmed Agoria's talent for the sensuality of acoustic melodies and the refinement of modernist productions, without ever completely denying his electronic roots.
Agoria's desire to "constantly try new adventures" led him to create two of the most avant-garde labels in the French electronic scene: "Infiné" in 2006 with Alexandre Cazac and Yannick Matray, and "Sapiens." He has also collaborated with prominent brands and figures in the fashion and visual arts world, such as Fendi and Philippe Parreno.
The artist has performed at Barcelona's Sonar Festival, Dublin's Forbidden Fruit, Belgium's Dour Festival, the UK's All Points East and
Bestival, and Paris's We Love Green. And now, we look forward to hearing him at the Maya.
Together with Agoria, the Maya family residents will also take to the console.
The rituals at Maya continue on Sunday, June 23, with Solaris, the weekly sunset aperitif from 6 PM to midnight, featuring the beach club's resident DJs.
