After the last Cueva Electrònica party at Maya alongside Agoria, we are ready to welcome another great international artist behind our decks: Jean Claude Ades, the resident of the legendary Sunday Party at Scorpios Mykonos.
Scorpios is a beach club with ancestral yet incredibly contemporary vibes that has built a reputation over the years as a hotspot for artists, creatives, and international DJs.
It is here that Jean Claude Ades has found his summer residency, and it is here that he manages the beach club’s in-house label, defining its artistic and sonic direction.
Let's discover the artist together.
Jean Claude Ades: deep bass, crisp drums and a constant striving for authenticity
If you’ve spent time in Ibiza or Mykonos in recent years, you surely have heard of one of the cornerstones of these two beautiful islands: Jean Claude Ades.
The French-German DJ and producer is a well-known figure in the international electronic music scene. His success is rooted in his contributions to the party culture of Ibiza and Mykonos, places that perfectly embody his vision of electronic music.
With 20 years of hits, tours across Europe, Asia, and South America, top spots on the Beatport charts with tracks like "Someday," "Shingaling," and "Valle De Larmes," and residencies at Pacha, BMI, and Ushuaia, Jean Claude Ades has certainly made his mark.
Deep bass, crisp percussion, and a constant search for authenticity: Ades' sets are true sonic journeys that transcend genre boundaries.
They are moments of shared experience aimed at creating evolving and expansive moods that linger long after the performance ends.
Since settling in Ibiza in 2012, where he launched his B!CRAZY party, Ades is now in his eighth season as a resident at Scorpios Mykonos.
This club shares his vision of creating a free and open artistic space where DJs and performers can forge a new kind of relationship with the audience.
We first heard him during the early sets at Maya, for the, Sunset Ritual on August 14 2021, and we can’t wait to welcome him back to our sonic temple on Saturday, June 29, 2024.
Together with Jean Claude Ades, the Maya family residents will also take to the console.
The rituals at Maya continue on Sunday, June 30, with Solaris, the weekly sunset aperitif from 6 PM to midnight, featuring the beach club's resident DJs.
